SUMTER, S.C. — A tragic accident in Sumter County claimed the life of a local man Friday evening after he was struck by two vehicles while riding his bicycle, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of McCrays Mill Road and Cook Street, an area known for moderate evening traffic.
