The Anne Arundel County Police Department reported that officers and emergency responders were called to the intersection of Telegraph Road and Route 100 around 2:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious two-vehicle collision.
According to preliminary findings, a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze traveling north on Telegraph Road collided head-on with a Honda Civic exiting the Route 100 ramp. The impact occurred in the middle of the intersection, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles. Firefighters and paramedics from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department arrived swiftly to provide medical aid, but despite their efforts, the driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as Linda Catherine Mierzeski, 75, of Gambrills.
