Three Suspects Arrested After 26-Year-Old Delfino Moor Shot Dead in North Hollywood

LOS ANGELES — Authorities in Los Angeles County have identified the victim of a deadly North Hollywood shooting that occurred last week. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the man was 26-year-old Delfino Moor, though officials have not yet released details about his residence.

The tragic incident unfolded around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in the 7300 block of Lankershim Boulevard, where Los Angeles police officers responded to reports of a person down. Upon arrival, officers discovered Moor suffering from a serious gunshot wound to his chest. Despite efforts from Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) say Moor had been approached by three men moments before the shooting. During the encounter, one of the suspects allegedly pulled a gun and fired, fatally wounding him. Detectives believe the shooting may have ties to local gang activity, though they have not yet confirmed a motive. The investigation remains active as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the deadly confrontation.

Within days of the incident, police arrested three suspects in connection with the case. They have been identified as Angel Banuelos, 31; Joshua Provencio, 21; and Jonathan Cuellar, 24. Each suspect was booked on suspicion of murder and held on $2 million bail, according to LAPD officials.
