65-Year-Old Timothy Crowley killed in Deadly Crash in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, Mass. — Authorities have identified the victim of a tragic two-vehicle crash that occurred in Lakeville on Saturday evening. According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, the deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Timothy Crowley, who later died from injuries sustained in the accident.

The collision happened around 7 p.m. on October 18 in the area between Freetown Street and Heather Hills Lane, prompting a rapid response from emergency personnel. When Lakeville firefighters arrived, they discovered that Crowley’s vehicle had caught fire following the crash. Quick-thinking bystanders had already pulled him from the burning car before first responders reached the scene. Despite immediate medical aid and transport to Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Crowley was pronounced deceased shortly afterward.

In addition to Crowley, three other individuals sustained injuries in the crash and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions remain undisclosed as of Monday. Firefighters also extinguished the blaze and secured the area to ensure no additional hazards remained.
